Letters to Jonathan Lucas, 1792-1796.

Letter (1792 May 4) is an invitation to Lucas to visit Washington at his plantation before he (Washington) has to leave on a trip. Washington's second letter (1796 Aug. 6) written from Charleston (S.C.) forwards a letter from Colonel Gordon which Washington wishes Lucas to read.
